(Baonghean.vn) - In order to promptly encourage and share the difficulties of Quy Chau district after the recent flood, on the morning of September 17, comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director and Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Radio and Television Station visited and presented gifts to 3 schools including: Chau Hoan Kindergarten, Chau Hoan Primary School and Hoan Lam Secondary School.

During the recent flood, Chau Hoan Kindergarten, Chau Hoan Primary School and Hoan Lam Secondary School were submerged in water. After the water receded, classrooms, functional rooms, documents, learning equipment, books and supplies of teachers and students were severely damaged, with estimated losses of hundreds of millions of dong.

With the support of local authorities, from September 14 to 17, 3 schools were closed to mobilize teachers, parents, students, and militiamen of Chau Hoan commune to clean up mud, dry school supplies, and books to gradually stabilize operations.

On this occasion, Nghe An Radio and Television Station has called for support from kind-hearted people, donating 20 million VND to Chau Hoan Kindergarten; Chau Hoan Primary School and Hoan Lam Secondary School, each receiving 10 million VND to overcome immediate difficulties. At the same time, 3 sets of television receivers were donated to 3 schools.
