On the evening of September 21, Thang Binh Traffic Police Station under PC67, Quang Nam Provincial Police, said that this unit had just coordinated with the Quang Nam Market Management Department to catch a passenger bus carrying many weapons and "hot" goods.

Earlier, at 1 p.m. the same day, the patrol team on duty on National Highway 1, passing through Quang Nam, discovered that the passenger car driven by driver Nguyen Quang (35 years old, residing in Nui Thanh town, Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam) had suspicious signs, so they stopped the car for inspection.

The task force caught red-handed a vehicle transporting many weapons and "hot" goods including: 90 electric batons, 33 batons, 20 pepper spray canisters, 70 kg of LED lights, and many textiles, ink, etc. All of these goods did not have valid documents proving their origin.

The working group coordinated with market management team No. 4 (Quang Nam market management department) to draw up a record and temporarily detain all of the above goods for investigation.
