On the evening of September 21st, the Thang Binh Traffic Police Station, under the PC67 department of the Quang Nam Provincial Police, announced that they had coordinated with the Quang Nam Market Management Department to apprehend a passenger bus carrying a large quantity of weapons and illegal goods.

Earlier that day, at over 1 PM, a patrol team from the station, while on duty on National Highway 1 in Quang Nam province, spotted a passenger bus driven by Nguyen Quang (35 years old, residing in Nui Thanh town, Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam province) showing suspicious signs, so they stopped the vehicle for inspection.

The task force caught the vehicle transporting numerous weapons and illegal goods, including: 90 electric batons, 33 truncheons, 20 cans of pepper spray, 70 kg of LED lights, along with various textiles and powdered ink... All of these goods lacked valid documentation proving their origin.

The task force coordinated with Market Management Team No. 4 (Quang Nam Market Management Sub-department) to draw up a report and temporarily seize all the goods for investigation.
