Giving gifts to students in flood-hit Chau Hoan area

(Baonghean.vn)- On September 23, 2016, the Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Business Bloc Union in coordination with the Quy Chau District Youth Union organized a gift-giving ceremony for schools damaged by storms and floods in Chau Hoan commune.

In the flood caused by storm No. 4, Quy Chau district suffered severe consequences, of which Chau Hoan was one of the most severely damaged communes. Schools in Chau Hoan were swept away by floodwaters or had desks, chairs, books and teaching equipment damaged, making it difficult for teachers and students to teach and learn.

Faced with that situation, to help and encourage teachers and students to quickly overcome the consequences of floods and stabilize teaching and learning, the Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Youth Union, and the Provincial Business Union launched a campaign and raised 20 million VND and 800 notebooks to donate to Chau Hoan Kindergarten, Primary School and Secondary School.
