(Baonghean.vn) - On September 23, 2016, the Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Federation of Youth Associations, and the Provincial Business Sector Youth Union, in coordination with the Quy Chau District Youth Union, organized a gift-giving event for schools damaged by storms and floods in Chau Hoan commune.

During the floods caused by the remnants of Typhoon No. 4, Quy Chau district suffered severe consequences, with Chau Hoan being one of the most heavily damaged communes. Schools in Chau Hoan were swept away or damaged by floodwaters, with desks, chairs, books, and teaching equipment destroyed, making teaching and learning difficult for teachers and students.

In response to this situation, to help and encourage teachers and students to quickly overcome the consequences of the floods and stabilize teaching and learning activities, the Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Federation of Youth Associations, and the Provincial Business Sector Youth Union organized a fundraising campaign and collected 20 million VND and 800 notebooks to donate to Chau Hoan Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary Schools.
