(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the National Target Program on Radio and Television coverage in remote, mountainous, and border areas in 2016, from September 26 to 29, Ky Son district organized the distribution and installation of 500 satellite television receivers for poor and near-poor households in the district.

The program aims to gradually extend radio and television coverage to remote and disadvantaged areas, thereby disseminating information about the Party and State's guidelines and policies; updating information, and improving the level of awareness and cultural and spiritual life of ethnic minority communities.

500 digital television receivers were distributed to poor households by Ky Son district.

Each household will receive one digital satellite television receiver along with a parabolic antenna and connecting cable up to 15 meters long, with a 12-month warranty from the date the household receives the digital television receiver.
