With an average life expectancy of 75.6 years, Vietnam ranks 56th out of 138 economies ranked by the World Economic Forum in terms of longevity.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) has just released its Global Competitiveness Report, which includes information on healthcare in various countries. The WEF ranks countries and territories based on the average life expectancy of their citizens. In developed economies, people generally live longer due to better healthcare and diets. In some places, life expectancy is lower than desired due to an increase in mental health problems leading to suicide rates, according to Business Insider.

According to this report, with an average life expectancy of 75.6 years, Vietnam ranks 56th out of 138 countries and territories with the highest life expectancy in the world, as ranked by the WEF.

Here are the top 10 places on this list:

1. Hong Kong: 84 years old

Scientists believe that the tradition of practicing Tai Chi has a significant effect in helping Hong Kong people stay active and healthy in old age. In addition, the benefits of a balanced diet with steamed food and tea consumption should also be considered.

2. Japan: 83.6 years old

10. Iceland: 82.1 years old
