Vietnamese people have the 56th longest life expectancy in the world.
With an average life expectancy of 75.6 years, Vietnam ranks 56th out of 138 economies ranked by the World Economic Forum for longevity.
The World Economic Forum (WEF) has just released its Global Competitiveness Report, which includes information on health care in countries. WEF ranks countries and territories based on the average life expectancy of their people. In developed economies, people often live longer due to better health care and diet. In some places, life expectancy is not as high as expected due to increased mental health problems leading to suicide, according to Business Insider.
According to this report, with an average life expectancy of 75.6 years, Vietnam ranks 56th out of 138 countries and territories with the highest life expectancy in the world ranked by WEF.
Here are the top 10 places on this list:
1. Hong Kong: 84 years old
Scientists believe that the traditional practice of tai chi has a significant impact on helping Hong Kong people stay active and healthy as they age, along with a balanced diet of steamed food and tea.
2. Japan: 83.6 years old
Three years ago, Japan dropped to second place in the rankings due to an increase in female suicides. However, its people still live long lives thanks to a healthy diet.

3. Spain: 83.1 years old
The country is famous for its Mediterranean diet, which is linked to long and healthy lives. This diet includes fresh vegetables, fish and other healthy fats such as olive oil and nuts.
4. Switzerland: 82.8 years old
The key to longevity in this wealthy country is good health care and a healthy diet. The oldest living woman in the country was Rosa Rein, born in 1897 and died in 2010 at the age of 113.

Israeli men have one of the highest life expectancies in the world, despite the conflict. Meanwhile, Luxembourg is a small European country with a high per capita income, which means its people have easy access to the best medical care and a healthy diet.
Life expectancy in South Korea has increased significantly in recent years thanks to economic growth. However, pollution in the country remains high.
10. Iceland: 82.1 years old
Nutritionists voted this country as having the best diet in the world, helping to reduce the risk of heart disease and diabetes.
