Meeting with former and current officials of the Vietnam Youth Union.
(Baonghean.vn) - To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Youth Union (October 15, 1956 - October 15, 2016), on the afternoon of October 14, the Vietnam Youth Union of Nghe An province organized a meeting of former and current Youth Union officials and awarded prizes for the photo contest "I Love My Homeland".
Also attending the ceremony were leaders from several provincial departments, agencies, and organizations; and former and current officials of the Vietnam Youth Union of Nghe An province.

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the glorious 60-year tradition of building, striving, contributing, and maturing of the Vietnam Youth Union. The Vietnam Youth Union is increasingly proving itself worthy as a broad social organization of patriotic Vietnamese youth and youth organizations. It affirms that youth are the pillars of the nation, the future masters of the country, and the vanguard force in building and defending the Fatherland.
The Nghe An Provincial Youth Union has grown significantly over the past 20 years, with its organization developing strongly throughout the province. Through its activities, the Union has created opportunities for young people to learn, train, contribute, and grow; actively contributing to the economic, cultural, social, national defense, and security development of the province.

Alongside building a strong Youth Union organization, the Youth Union at all levels has launched and organized many action movements among young people. The most prominent and outstanding among these is the "Youth Volunteer" movement for community life. The "Youth Self-Reliance, Career Development, and Legitimate Wealth Creation" campaign has produced an increasing number of exemplary young people excelling in production and business, young farm owners, and dynamic, creative young entrepreneurs, making positive contributions to the socio-economic development of the province and the country.
On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union held a ceremony to summarize and award prizes for the photo contest with the theme "I Love My Homeland". The contest, launched over a month ago, attracted a large number of participants with more than 2,000 entries. At the end of the contest, the judging panel awarded 16 prizes to individuals and groups.
