SLNA fans join hands towards Central Vietnam

(Baonghean.vn) - That was the message that the SLNA Fan Club sent out at the opening ceremony of the "Song Lam Open - GUMAC Cup Competition" football tournament last night (October 15).

Six female SLNA fan teams are branches of the Southern SLNA Fan Club from Saigon, Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Vung Tau, gathered in Binh Duong to compete, on the occasion of celebrating the 86th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20). This is a traditional tournament of the SLNA Fan Club, held annually after the end of the V-League.

The opening day of the women's football tournament "Song Lam Open - GUMAC Cup Competition" was also the time when the Central region struggled to fight against the great flood, in which the two provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh were heavily affected. And a message of joining hands and looking towards the homeland was sent by the Southern SLNA Fan Club.

Ambassador of the Nghe An fan community, Ms. Huynh Trang Nhi, said: Tonight (October 16), the Southern SLNA Fan Club will launch a fund towards the Central region, to join hands with people in flooded areas in the Central region, especially Nghe An - Ha Tinh.

It is known that at the end of 2013, Nghe An and Ha Tinh also had to struggle through the huge flood. At that time, Ms. Huynh Trang Nhi and the Southern SLNA Fan Club also called for help from the community and received more than 500 million VND to help the difficult circumstances in Nghe An.
