Last year, a Bosnian won with 33 hours and 30 minutes of lazing on a mattress. However, the competition record still belongs to Marko Djurovic, who set it in 2014 with 37 hours of lazing on a mattress.

This year, the comedy contest for tourists was held ahead of Montenegro's parliamentary elections, so the organizers joked that perhaps all political party representatives should come to the contest to have a break and earn some money to pay for their election campaign expenses.
