On October 21, Mr. Hoang Huu Thinh - Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training of Kien Giang province - announced this information.

Previously, on October 14, at Thuan Hoa 3 Primary School, An Minh district, 34 students had to be hospitalized due to dizziness, headaches, and difficulty breathing after being exposed to stink bomb toys.

After emergency treatment, the children were discharged from the hospital to go home, but on October 19, some of them showed signs of relapse and had to be readmitted to the hospital.

On October 17, the Kien Giang Provincial Department of Health sent a dispatch to the Department of Education and Training, ruling out the possibility of food poisoning and determining that the cause was due to children coming into contact with stink bomb toys (20 of whom smelled them directly), which then reacted with the gas contained in the stink bag, leading to the above symptoms.

In this dispatch, the Department of Health also requested that authorities inspect, confiscate and destroy stink bomb toys made in China, especially in areas around schools.

According to the Department of Education and Training of Kien Giang, the consequences of the above incident have greatly affected the psychology of students and parents and caused significant impact on the educational environment.

Therefore, the Department of Education and Training requires educational institutions throughout the province, especially kindergartens and primary schools, to urgently propagate and inform students and parents not to buy and use "Jart bomb - made in China" toys.

Schools need to have short, easy-to-understand, easy-to-remember information boards posted in visible places such as the canteen, dining hall, where students often gather during recess.

At the same time, schools need to meet and advise individuals selling toys inside and outside schools to minimize the sale of toys that are harmful to students.
