Suffering from heart disease, wasp sting died

(Baonghean.vn) - A man residing in Hung Loc commune was stung to death by a wasp on November 6, 2016.

Accordingly, the person stung to death by a wasp was Mr. TBD (31 years old), an officer of a bank working in Vinh city.

According to the people of My Ha hamlet, Hung Loc commune (Vinh city), who are neighbors of Mr. D., said: Previously, on the morning of November 5, Mr. TBD was preparing to go to work when he discovered a bee in his pants. Immediately, Mr. D. went to a nearby neighbor's house to find a way to catch this bee, smash it to death, and then take it out to the garden.

According to many people's descriptions, this bee is quite large and is suspected to be a wasp.

Afterwards, Mr. D. bought some painkillers and went to work as usual. About 15 minutes later, his colleagues found Mr. D. collapsed at his desk. Mr. D. was taken to the Nghe An Provincial General Hospital for emergency treatment and regained consciousness.

At around 11am on November 5, his relatives came to the hospital to visit him but heard him complaining of feeling very tired. According to doctors from the Intensive Care and Anti-Poison Department of the Provincial General Hospital, when he was brought to the emergency room, patient D. was still conscious, but by the afternoon his blood pressure dropped very quickly. He was diagnosed with bee sting poisoning on the basis of a heart condition.

At 11pm the same day, his family transferred him to Bach Mai Hospital (Hanoi) for treatment. At 4:25am on November 6, Mr. D. died.

It is known that Mr. D. has a wife and a 3-year-old son. Previously, Mr. TBD had a history of heart disease.

The family has buried Mr. D. at the local cemetery.
