(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 17, Do Luong District Youth Union met, presented gifts, and commended the brave spirit of Mr. Thai Dac Kham (23 years old) in Hamlet 9, Bai Son Commune (Do Luong) - the person who bravely saved two students who were swept away by the water.

As reported by Nghe An newspaperOn the morning of January 16, two students, Nguyen Trong Dat (11 years old, class 5B) and Nguyen Van Vi (11 years old, class 4B, Bai Son Primary School), both living in hamlet 11, invited each other to go to a friend's house in hamlet 9, Bai Son commune to play.

While crossing a flooded inter-village road, the two children were swept away by the water, both themselves and their vehicle, into the Trang stream. Mr. Thai Ba Kham, who was herding buffalo about 700 meters away, heard the cries for help, ran to jump into the stream, and swam out to save the children.
