Mercedes E63 AMG 2018 with 603 horsepower
The most powerful AMG engine installed in the 2018 E-class has a capacity of up to 603 horsepower.
The German automaker introduced the high-performance version of the E-class at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show. In addition to the standard version, the E63 AMG S version has an additional drift function for those who love this adventurous sport.
The new E63 AMG has a bold, sporty design, clearly different from the standard version, not as bland asAMG versions on the previous generation. The air intakes and front bumper are larger and more muscular. The hood with embossed lines and a design similar to the coupe models is the highlight of the high-performance version of the E-class.

The new model comes with 19-inch double-spoke wheels on the standard version, 20-inch wheels for the S version. The headlight system, the refined design on the body and the rear of the car still have the standard E-class style. But there are some changes in the chrome-plated rear bumper, dual exhaust pipes or vertical grille.
The E63 AMG interior is similar to the standard version with leather seats, a flat-bottomed three-spoke steering wheel, and an extended touchscreen. The S version adds gray crystal on the 12 o'clock steering wheel, contrasting stitching on the seats, and seat belts. The German automaker offers additional optional packages to enhance the sportiness of the steering wheel, seats, or trim in carbon fiber, silver fiberglass.
In the performance race with BMW's M Performance division, Mercedes AMG introduced a new engine applied on the E63. It is a 4-liter V8 Biturto, 563 horsepower, maximum torque of 750 Nm. The car can accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 3.4 seconds, with an electronically limited speed of 249 km/h.

The S version has more power, at 603 horsepower, maximum torque of 850 Nm. Acceleration from 0-96 km/h in 3.3 seconds, maximum speed of 299 km/h. Both versions combine a 9-speed gearbox.Speedshift MCT, with quickshifter and variable torque distribution system.
Temporary cylinder deactivation technology is also applied on the E63 AMG 2018. Cylinders 2, 3, 5 and 8 can temporarily stop to save fuel when the vehicle is not operating at high speed.
Two AMG versions of theThe Mercedes E-Class will hit the market next summer. The special Edition 1 version will follow about a year later. Mercedes has not yet revealed the prices of the two new models.
