Tired all day because of sleeping in

Many people think that sleeping a little longer after turning off the alarm helps them stay awake and restore energy, but this is an unscientific way.

To get more energy, many people use the “snooze” mode on their alarm clock to get an extra 5 to 10 minutes of shut-eye. According to experts, this makes you more tired and sleepy.

The reason is that the time between alarm clocks is too short, the body does not have enough time to fall into a deeper sleep.

Lack of a daily routine also causes confusion between the body's biological clock and the alarm clock.

“Set your alarm for the exact time you need to wake up,” behavioral scientist Dan Ariely wrote in an advice column for the Wall Street Journal.

“When needing to wake up at 7am, many people often set their alarm earlier, at 6:40am, then select 'snooze' a few times until 7am, or even 7:15am. However, this method prevents the body from learning the conditioned reflex to wake up when the alarm goes off,” he said.

The body often functions better when we have a clear rule, getting out of bed right when the alarm goes off.
