Tired all day from sleeping in.
Many people believe that sleeping in a little longer after turning off the alarm helps them feel more alert and regain energy; however, this is an unscientific approach.
To boost their energy, many people use the "snooze" function on their alarm clock to nap for an extra 5 to 10 minutes. According to experts, this actually makes you feel more tired and sleepy.
The reason is that the time between alarms is too short, not giving the body enough time to fall into a deeper sleep.
The lack of a daily routine also disrupts the balance between the body's biological clock and the alarm clock.
Dan Ariely, a behavioral scientist, once wrote in an advice column in the Wall Street Journal, "Set your alarm for the exact time you need to wake up."

"When needing to wake up at 7 a.m., many people often set their alarm earlier, at 6:40 a.m., then choose 'snooze' a few times until 7 a.m., or even 7:15 a.m. However, this method prevents the body from learning the conditioned reflex of waking up when the alarm rings," he said.
The body generally functions better when we have a clear routine, such as getting out of bed as soon as the alarm goes off.
