Vinh University organizes celebrations for the National Day of Laos and Thailand.
(Baonghean.vn) – On the afternoon of December 1st, Vinh University held a ceremony to commemorate the 41st anniversary of the National Day of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (December 2nd, 1975 - December 2nd, 2016) and the 89th anniversary of the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand (December 5th, 1927 - December 5th, 2016).
Attending the ceremony and sharing in the joy with Lao and Thai students studying in Vinh City were representatives from the Department of Foreign Affairs; the Nghe An Provincial Police; the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association; the Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association; the Liaison Committee of Vietnamese Volunteer Soldiers in Laos; and teachers and Lao and Thai students studying at Vinh University, Vinh Medical University, Vinh Industrial University, Vinh University of Technology and Education, Nghe An University of Economics, and Nghe An College of Education.

At the commemorative ceremony, representatives of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of Vinh University extended best wishes to the Lao and Thai international students, and recalled the precious tradition of friendship between Vietnam and Laos, and Vietnam and Thailand.

To commemorate the 41st anniversary of the National Day of the Lao People's Democratic Republic and the 89th anniversary of the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, Vinh University has organized many vibrant cultural and sports activities and cultural exchanges for 400 Lao and Thai students studying at the university, as well as students studying at other universities and colleges in Vinh City.
