Car driver violated traffic laws and hit traffic police

Traffic Police Team No. 3 - Road and Railway Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police just announced that a traffic police officer of the team was hit by a car driver and thrown onto the road. The injured traffic police officer was taken to the emergency room by local people.

Previously, at around 7:40 p.m. on November 13, a working group of Traffic Police Team No. 3 - Road and Railway Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police was on duty at the intersection of Le Van Luong - Lang Ha, Dong Da District, Hanoi and discovered a car with license plate 29C - 529xxx violating traffic laws.

Immediately after that, a traffic police officer in the task force signaled the vehicle to stop for inspection. However, instead of obeying the traffic police officer’s command, the driver suddenly accelerated, crashed straight into the traffic police officer, and then fled.

Because the incident happened so suddenly and at a time when there was a lot of traffic, the traffic police officer of Traffic Police Team No. 3 was hit by the car and thrown to the side of the road. Due to the strong impact, the traffic police officer was injured and was taken to the emergency room by his teammates and people around the area.

Speaking to reporters, Lieutenant Colonel Le Tu - Captain of Traffic Police Team No. 3 - Road and Railway Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police confirmed the above incident and said: "According to people's feedback, the driver of the car intentionally crashed into the traffic police officer while on duty."

Regarding the health of the traffic police officer who was hit by a car, Lieutenant Colonel Le Tu said: “At around 11am on November 14, the health of the traffic police officer who was hit by a car was gradually recovering and was not in danger of personal injury. However, our traffic police officer is still suffering from pain in many parts of his body and is being treated and monitored at the hospital. The incident occurred, Traffic Police Team No. 3 has handed over the entire incident to the local police for investigation and handling according to their authority.”
