Apartment crane collapses, 10th grade male student dies

(Baonghean.vn) - While playing sports in the school yard, a student of Le Viet Thuat High School was hit by a crane from the Truong Thanh 2 apartment building under construction next to the school, causing him to die on the spot.

According to initial information, at around 4:30 p.m. on November 14, students of Le Viet Thuat High School were doing extracurricular activities in the schoolyard when they suddenly heard a loud crash. A crane collapsed, damaging the roof of a three-story classroom building. Many students ran in panic, but H., a 10th grader from A7, was unable to run away in time and was hit in the head by the crane, killing him on the spot.

It is known that H. has two twin brothers studying at Le Viet Thuat School. Truong Thanh Company Limited is constructing a 20-storey apartment building - Adjacent villa area in block 5, Truong Thi ward, Vinh city.

Police are currently at the scene to handle the tragic accident.
