On November 21, New Idea magazine reported that the biological mother of Pax Thien - the boy adopted by Angelina Jolie in Vietnam - is trying to reclaim her son.

“This is Brad and Angelina's worst nightmare. It's something they've feared for years - the biological parents of Maddox, Pax or Zahara wanting their children back,” the magazine claimed.

Regarding the above information, a representative of the Tam Binh Child Care and Protection Center in Ho Chi Minh City said they had not received any information about Pax Thien's mother wanting to reclaim her child.

Currently, the Center has not been able to contact Pax Thien’s biological parents to verify the incident. Meanwhile, Ms. Kim Xuyen (an employee of the Center) is on leave and does not accept any interviews.

Meanwhile, foreign press sources went further to confirm that Jolie and Pitt, who adopted Pax from the Tam Binh Foster Care Center in 2007, would not easily return the baby.

“Of course they will fight this. With the divorce going on, this is the last thing they need,” the source added.

According to the article above, the place that adopted Pax Thien after he was abandoned was Tam Binh Children Support Center, Thu Duc District, Ho Chi Minh City. Most of the children here are children of prisoners.

“They took the mother to the hospital to give birth, then brought her back to prison, and her child came here,” Nguyen Kim Xuyen, an employee at the center, told New Idea in an interview.

She added that since adopting Pax, Angelina Jolie has not returned to visit the place where her son was raised as she had promised. The Mirror also quoted Ms. Xuyen as saying that Tam Binh Center is currently facing difficulties and is in dire need of financial support from Jolie.
