Does Pax Thien's biological mother want to reclaim her son from Angelina Jolie?

On November 21st, New Idea magazine reported that Pax Thien's biological mother – the boy Angelina Jolie adopted in Vietnam – is seeking to reclaim her son.

"This is Brad and Angelina's worst nightmare. It's what they've feared for years – Maddox, Pax, or Zahara's biological parents wanting to take their children back," the magazine asserted.

Regarding the above information, a representative from the Tam Binh Children's Welfare and Protection Center in Ho Chi Minh City stated that they had not received any information about Pax Thien's mother wanting to reclaim her child.

Currently, the Center has been unable to contact Pax Thien's biological parents to verify the incident. Meanwhile, Ms. Kim Xuyen (an employee of the Center) is on leave and is not responding to any interviews.

Meanwhile, foreign press sources went even further, claiming that Jolie and Pitt, who received Pax from the Tam Binh Children's Welfare Center in 2007, would not easily return the child.

"Of course they'll resist this. With the divorce underway, this is the last thing they need," the source added.

According to the article, the place that adopted Pax Thien after he was abandoned is the Tam Binh Children's Support Center, located in Thu Duc District, Ho Chi Minh City. Most of the children there are the offspring of prisoners.

In an interview with New Idea, Nguyen Kim Xuyen, an employee at the center, said: "They take the mother to the hospital to give birth, then bring her back to prison, and her child is brought here."

She added that since adopting Pax, Angelina Jolie has yet to return to visit the place where her son is being cared for, as she had promised. The Mirror also quoted Ms. Xuyen as saying that the Tam Binh Center is currently facing difficulties and urgently needs financial support from Jolie.

"We need the money to buy food and help the children have a better life," she said.

In an interview with Zing.vn, a representative from the Center stated that they had not received any information regarding Pax Thien's mother wanting to reclaim her child. The Center has not yet been able to contact Pax Thien's biological parents to verify the matter.

Regarding the allegations that the Center is facing difficulties and is requesting assistance from Jolie, the representative stated that they have no information on this matter. Therefore, they cannot confirm the information reported by New Idea or Mirror.
