Warm Nghe folk songs in the capital

(Baonghean.vn) - With the theme "Vi Giam converges and spreads", the art program "Vi Giam love" on the night of November 12 really warmed the hearts of Nghe An people in Hanoi on a cold day in the capital.

The program An Tinh Vi Giam is truly a highlight of traditional folk art in the middle of Hanoi Capital.

Still the familiar songs coming from the fields, the ferry, the communal house yard, sung in the lullabies of mothers and grandmothers, but the Vi and Giam songs resounding in the middle of the National Convention Center were much more meaningful to many people present.

The special feature of the music night is the participation of farmers - artists who practice at the Vi and Giam clubs of Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces.

In particular, listeners can also feel the continuation of Vi Giam when on stage there are young singers, the microphones they hold in their hands are not yet steady but their voices are full of power.

The audience listened to simple, sincere lyrics about the working, production and daily life of the artisans through ancient Vi and Giam melodies such as: "Giam xay lua", "Gia ban", "Vi phuong cay", "Vi phuong vai", "Vi leo non", Hat doi dap giao duyen...

The highlight of the show was also the appearance of People's Artist Thu Hien. The artist of "Gian ma thuong" said that although she is not a native of Nghe An, the folk songs of this white sand and Lao windy countryside have become a passion in her blood.
