After more than a minute of braking and flooring the gas pedal in fourth gear, the brake disc glowed red and shattered into many pieces.

Driving at high speeds and constantly applying the brakes is a dangerous driving practice that experts advise against. Many accidents around the world and in Vietnam occur because drivers descend mountain passes at high speeds and constantly apply the brakes. The consequences of this can include power steering failure, brake pad burning, loss of traction, or even more dangerously, the shattering of brake discs, as shown in the video.

The YouTube channel "Beyond the Press" tested an old manual transmission car by flooring the accelerator in fourth gear. After about a minute, the brake discs became red-hot and shattered. With the camera set to 1,800 frames per second, viewers can clearly see the brake discs breaking into many pieces.
