Import and export tax revenue in Nghe An reached 1,020 billion VND.
(Baonghean.vn) - As of November 30th, tax revenue at the Nghe An Customs Department reached 957 billion VND, achieving 98.6% of the target set by the General Department of Customs (970 billion VND).

Revenue collection reached 75% of the target set by the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee (1,270 billion VND) and increased by 17.5% compared to the same period in 2015 (777.8 billion VND). Import and export turnover reached 795,655,099 USD, also increasing by 28.2% compared to the same period last year (621,541,651 USD).
Import and export tax revenue in November increased sharply compared to the previous month. According to statistics from the Nghe An Customs Department, many items showed positive growth in budget revenue: petroleum products increased; imported cold-rolled steel for the production of corrugated iron by Hoa Sen Group.
In addition, traditional items such as various types of stone, stone powder, acacia and eucalyptus wood chips, machinery, and equipment for investment projects also showed stable growth.
From now until the end of the year, the unit will continue to implement comprehensive solutions to facilitate import and export activities of businesses; strengthen efforts to combat revenue loss through the application of tax codes, post-clearance inspections; combat smuggling and trade fraud, etc., striving to achieve the 2016 budget revenue target.
According to Mr. Chu Quang Luan, Director of the Nghe An Customs Department, by the end of December 2016, the estimated import and export tax revenue reached 1,020 billion VND.
