Train leader SE7 Dang Ngoc Quat (Southern Railway Attendant Group) said that his train crew picked up many valuable belongings left behind by foreign passengers on the train today (January 10) and will return them to the passengers tomorrow.

Train captain Quat said that this morning, January 10, train SE7 left Nha Trang station at 8:35 am, continuing its journey to Saigon station. While cleaning up the bedding and pillows in compartment 2, flight attendant Truong Dai Ngoc in charge of compartment 12 discovered a pink suitcase that a passenger had left behind at Nha Trang station. Flight attendant Ngoc immediately reported to the train captain and security guards on the train to conduct an inspection and make a record.

Under the witness of the passengers on board, the train crew opened the suitcase and made a record. Inside the suitcase were a large amount of the passengers' belongings, including: a Samsung mobile phone, a Nokia mobile phone, an iPhone 4 mobile phone, an iPhone 7 mobile phone, an iPad, a tablet, a Cazabela metal wristwatch, a metal bracelet, two unopened envelopes, a Harrods handbag, 170 USD, 2,000 Thai baht, more than 1,800 British pounds, and 2 ATM cards.

Train captain Dang Ngoc Quat said that because the train continued to Saigon, it could not be returned immediately and promised to return it to passenger Dicorato tomorrow morning (January 11). "Passengers were extremely touched by the enthusiasm and thoughtfulness of the railway staff," said Train captain Quat.
