Piaggio recalls Liberty ABS in Vietnam.
Over 13,000 Liberty ABS scooters manufactured between September 2015 and December 2016 are at risk of reduced structural rigidity with prolonged use.
Piaggio Vietnam stated that this recall program is part of the parent company's overall policy in Italy. Routine inspections revealed that the main frame tube of these vehicles is at risk of reduced rigidity with prolonged use. If driven frequently on rough roads or overloaded, the bent part of the frame tube will lose rigidity and may even crack.
