Gala Melody of Pride: A glass of wine to welcome the Year of the Rooster

Gala Melody of Pride with the songs with the highest votes will be broadcast on VTV1 (Vietnam Television) on the first day of Lunar New Year (January 28).

Over the past year, Proud Melody has left a beautiful musical impression in the hearts of many audiences. From the first episode “Departure”, “Remaining Pages”, “Border Afternoon”, “Passing Through the Grass”, “Clinging to the Homeland Sea”, “Love in the Leaves”, “Winter Nostalgia” to “Spring and Youth”; Proud Melody will end 2016 with a special Gala program celebrating Spring.

In the Gala program, the songs with the highest votes from the Council as well as the audience will be performed again, along with stories associated with each song and personal sharing of many emotions.

The Gala opens with the song “Spring and Youth” (composed by La Hoi), a song that was featured in the December issue with the same theme. This time, the song will be performed again with the soft, technical voices of the 5 Dong Ke group on a vibrant Rumba background.

Mash up “Em oi Ha Noi pho” (composed by: Phu Quang; performed by: Phuong Anh); “Gui lai em” (composed by: Vu Hoang; performed by: Ngoc Khue, Bao Tram); “Oi cuoc song em thuong” (composed by Nguyen Ngoc Thien; performed by: Kimmese and PKL group) brings excitement and full of emotions on a Spring night.

The songs “Mo hoa” (composed by Hoang Giac; performed by Erik ST 319) and “Ly ruou mung” (composed by Pham Dinh Chuong; performed by Bao Tram, Ngoc Khue, Dong thoi gian group) both create highlights because the performers are young singers with very unique musical personalities. The song “Ly ruou mung” is like a wish to the audience for a warm and happy new year.
