(Baonghean) - Due to the nature of the Clinker rotary kiln which must operate continuously, during the 2017 Lunar New Year, Song Lam Cement Factory (belonging to The Vissai Cement Group, located in Do Luong district) arranged normal production.

At the same time, the fleet of vehicles transporting Clinker from here to other factories of the group also operates continuously to release over 12,000 tons of Clinker/day.

The two production lines of Song Lam Cement Plant have a designed capacity of (2x6,000) = 12,000 tons of clinker/day with technology from the Federal Republic of Germany. In the cement production line, the kiln is considered the "heart" of the plant, operating continuously and non-stop all year round. Therefore, operation, monitoring and maintenance are carried out regularly, ensuring that productivity is achieved, exceeded, product quality is good, cost savings and safety are achieved.

In addition, workers and experts must regularly monitor the parameters of the kiln system such as: heat exchange towers, decomposition chambers, fuel supply systems, cooling chambers, fans, kiln drive systems, kiln head analysis, exhaust gas and analysis of each batch of clinker products...

“In principle, the production line is highly automated, all equipment is controlled and monitored at the Central Control Room, operated by foreign experts and Vietnamese engineers. However, each stage requires high concentration and close supervision to ensure the production of clinker for other factories as well as to ensure the safe and long-term operation of the factory” - that is the affirmation of Mr. Dinh Quoc Quyen - General Director of Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company when talking about the operation of the factory. Along with that, in quality management and supervision, it is necessary to accurately analyze the composition of input raw materials and clinker leaving the factory, ensuring the best quality control.

“Because of the need to operate and monitor continuously, the company arranges staff to always work 3 shifts per day. During the Lunar New Year, the factory still operates 3 shifts continuously as usual. Based on the arrangement of staff and workers to work during Tet, the company cares, encourages and ensures the right rights for everyone - Mr. Dinh Quoc Quyen added.

On the occasion of Tet like this, the Song Lam Cement Factory area is always bustling with the atmosphere of labor and production.

Among the 500 staff and workers working during Tet at Song Lam Cement Factory, the workshop leaders are highly skilled and experienced people who were transferred from other factories in Ninh Binh, Ha Nam, etc. belonging to The Vissai Cement Group. Thus, they have to be away from home and relatives during the traditional Tet holiday of the nation, but everyone is excited and enthusiastic about working for the development of the group.

Mr. An Hoc Thinh, currently the factory's Kiln Workshop Manager, from Ninh Binh city, will be on duty with his team during Tet holidays in Do Luong. Mr. Thinh shared: "Although I am away from my wife, children and family during these days, I have hundreds of brothers and sisters who are determined to develop the factory stably, so I have more motivation to strive even harder. Moreover, now with smart phones and devices, I can communicate via video calls, so I can meet my wife and children every day, chat, share joy...".
