88 Nghe An students achieved the title of National Excellent Students

(Baonghean.vn) - The Ministry of Education and Training has just announced the results of the National Excellent Student Competition for the 2016-2017 school year. As a result, 88 Nghe An students won prizes, including 7 first prizes. These are all students of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted.

With this result, Nghe An is in the top provinces with the largest number of national excellent students along with Hai Phong, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City. Among the prizes, 10 students won prizes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, English each (100%). Next are Informatics and Literature (9 students won prizes). The remaining two subjects, History and French, each had 5 students winning prizes.

Notably, among the awards, 7 students won first prizes. They were Le Nhat Minh, Tran Huu Binh Minh, Dang Hoang Long, Nguyen Thanh Binh - First Prize in Physics; Thai Ngoc Anh, Hoang Nghia Tuyen - First Prize in Chemistry; Ngu Thi Ha Trang - First Prize in History. In addition, 29 students won second prizes, 30 students won third prizes and 22 students won encouragement prizes.

Among the students who won first prize, Le Nhat Minh, the first prize winner in Physics, is the only student currently in grade 11 and is also the candidate with the highest score in Nghe An province.

Also according to the results just announced by the Ministry of Education and Training, along with Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, students from Vinh University High School for the Gifted had 23 students winning prizes. Of which, there were 4 Second prizes, 8 Third prizes and 11 Encouragement prizes.
