Vinh City launches campaign to prevent crime and firecrackers during Dinh Dau Tet

(Baonghean.vn) - To maintain social stability and ensure that people have a joyful and safe traditional Tet holiday, on the afternoon of January 24, Vinh City People's Committee organized a campaign to prevent crimes and firecrackers during the Dinh Dau New Year 2017.

Every year during the Lunar New Year, the crime situation in Vinh City is extremely complicated, especially the burning of firecrackers. To maintain social stability and ensure that people have a joyful, exciting and safe traditional New Year, at the launching ceremony, the Vinh City People's Committee assigned the People's Committees of wards and communes to coordinate well with the police force to closely monitor the area, increase patrols, promptly detect, combat and strictly handle criminals and cases of burning firecrackers during the New Year.

The Vinh City People's Committee requested the city's police force to focus on cracking down on subjects intentionally causing injuries, disturbing public order, stealing property, protecting debt collection and dangerous criminal networks and organizations to ensure local security and order before, during and after the Dinh Dau Lunar New Year.
