Russia unveils a significantly upgraded version of the T-90 tank.

The UralVagonZavod plant has just released images of the T-90M main battle tank, a significantly upgraded version of the T-90A.

The T-90M tank still uses the 2A46M5 smoothbore cannon, capable of firing kinetic energy penetrator rounds (APFSDS), high-explosive fragmentation rounds (HEF), high-explosive shaped-charge rounds (HEAT), and anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM). It uses a new engine with a power output of 1,300 horsepower. The expected weight of the T-90M is 50 tons, 2 tons heavier than the T-90MS and 3.5 tons heavier than the T-90A.
