Yen Tinh Nursery prepares nearly 20,000 seedlings of various kinds

Spring is also the time when farmers in Nghia Dan district focus on planting perennial crops such as rubber, oranges, PQ tangerines, grapefruit, avocados, etc. Therefore, right from Tet, the plant seed production facility of Ms. Le Thi Tinh's family in Quan Mit hamlet, Nghia Tan commune (Nghia Dan) has prepared for the new seeding season.

Present at the nursery of Ms. Le Thi Tinh's family in Quan Mit hamlet, Nghia Tan commune (Nghia Dan), we were amazed by the scale of her family's 3.5-hectare nursery. Her family's nursery facility, with its professionalism and high survival rate, has become a trusted address for many farmers engaged in agricultural production such as: wild grapefruit; Dien grapefruit, Quang Tien grapefruit, green-skin grapefruit; PQ1 orange and tangerine varieties; apple, avocado and seeds taken from Bac Ninh to graft orange, tangerine and lemon trees.

According to Ms. Tinh, the current price of some plant varieties is: avocado costs from 18 to 20 thousand VND/tree; Dien grapefruit costs from 15 to 16 thousand VND/tree; green-skin grapefruit costs from 18 to 20 thousand VND/tree; PQ tangerine costs from 10 to 12 thousand VND/tree; orange trees cost 15 thousand VND/tree, rubber costs from 10 to 12 thousand VND/tree....

Realizing that the land and soil were suitable, Ms. Tinh's family worked hard to invest and research to produce quality seedlings to meet people's needs. Initially, the nursery was only small with about 18,000 trees, but now the family has expanded the area and number of nurseries to 15,000 to 20,000 trees of all kinds.

The advantage is that although the varieties are good, the prices of the seedlings at the facility are suitable for the farmers' budget. The abundance and diversity of plant species, especially high-quality plants, have created conditions for farmers to have suitable choices, ensuring efficiency in economic development.
