Yen Tinh nursery is preparing nearly 20,000 seedlings of various types.

(Baonghean.vn) - In Nghia Dan, many people know about the famous citrus tree nursery of Mr. Yen and Ms. Tinh. Every year, their family sells 200,000 seedlings of various types, generating an income of over 500 million VND.

With the arrival of spring, farmers in Nghia Dan district are focusing on planting perennial crops such as rubber trees, oranges, tangerines, pomelos, and avocados. Therefore, even before Tet (Lunar New Year), the plant seedling production facility of Ms. Le Thi Tinh's family in Quan Mit hamlet, Nghia Tan commune (Nghia Dan) had already prepared for the new seedling season.

Visiting the nursery of Ms. Le Thi Tinh's family in Quan Mit hamlet, Nghia Tan commune (Nghia Dan district), we were amazed by the scale of her 3.5-hectare nursery. With its professionalism and high survival rate, her family's seedling nursery has become a trusted source for many farmers producing various crops such as: wild pomelo; Dien pomelo, Quang Tien pomelo, green-skinned pomelo; PQ1 orange and tangerine varieties; apples, avocados, and grafted seedlings from Bac Ninh for various orange, tangerine, and lemon trees.

According to Ms. Tinh, the current prices for some plant seedlings are as follows: avocado seedlings cost from 18,000 to 20,000 VND/plant; Dien pomelo seedlings cost from 15,000 to 16,000 VND/plant; green-skinned pomelo seedlings cost from 18,000 to 20,000 VND/plant; Phu Quoc mandarin orange seedlings cost from 10,000 to 12,000 VND/plant; various types of orange trees cost 15,000 VND/plant; rubber trees cost from 10,000 to 12,000 VND/plant...

Recognizing the suitable soil conditions, Ms. Tinh's family diligently invested in research and learning to produce high-quality seedlings to meet the needs of the people. Initially, the nursery was small, with about 18,000 seedlings, but now the family has expanded the area and number of seedlings to 150,000 to 200,000 of various types.

The advantage is that although the varieties are good, the prices of seedlings at the facility are affordable for farmers. The abundance and diversity of plant varieties, especially high-quality plants, have created conditions for farmers to make suitable choices, ensuring efficiency in economic development.
