Nghe An is about to inaugurate two huge projects
(Baonghean.vn)- In order for the two projects of N5 Road and Nghi Thiet Grinding Station to be inaugurated on schedule, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong requested the construction units and investors to work continuously to ensure safety.
These two projects have a total investment of more than 2,300 billion VND.
On the afternoon of April 13, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee led the provincial working delegation to inspect and work on the progress and preparations for the inauguration ceremony of the Lam River cement grinding station project in Nghi Thiet, Nghi Loc and the technical opening of National Highway 7 - N5 - Nghi Thiet. Also attending were Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of relevant departments and branches; Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company. |
The N5 route connecting the Southeast Economic Zone to Hoa Son, Do Luong district has a length of 29.1km, approved as 2 specific projects with a total capital of more than 1,265 billion VND. Up to now, after nearly 1 year of starting construction, the main route passing through 2 districts, Nghi Loc and Do Luong, the site has been handed over to the construction unit.
Regarding the construction volume, as of April 13, 2017, the roadbed, bridges, culverts, and crushed stone foundations have been completed 100%, cement reinforcement has been completed 95%, and the first layer of asphalt has been completed 19/29.1km, reaching 65% of the total project length.

The Department of Transport is directing contractors to focus resources to speed up the construction progress of project items, arranging 3 asphalt concrete construction teams (at least 1km per day) to ensure the first layer of asphalt concrete is completed before April 28, 2017 and the entire project is completed before June 30, 2017.
Regarding Nghi Thiet Cement Grinding Station (total investment of 1,100 billion VND, designed capacity of phase 1 is 4 million tons/year), according to the report of Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company, the cement plant has reached 99%, expected to be completed by the end of April 2017. The cement grinder has completed half of the grinder - ending phase 1. Phase 2 is installing cement grinder No. 2 and is expected to be completed in July 2017. The silos containing feed for the grinder have reached 99%, expected to be completed in April.

Auxiliary works such as central operating house, conveyor belt, and import hopper have reached 99% and are expected to be completed in April 2017. Through on-site inspection, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong highly appreciated the efforts of investors and contractors and agreed to inaugurate the factory, cement grinding station and open the N5 route to traffic on April 29 in Nghi Thiet, Nghi Loc.
