Nghe An is about to inaugurate two massive projects.
(Baonghean.vn) - To ensure the timely completion of the N5 road and Nghi Thiet grinding plant projects, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong requested the construction units and investors to work continuously and ensure safety.
These two projects have a total investment of over 2,300 billion VND.
On the afternoon of April 13th, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, led a provincial delegation to inspect and work on the progress of the Song Lam cement grinding plant project in Nghi Thiet, Nghi Loc, and the technical opening of the National Highway 7-N5-Nghi Thiet route. Also attending were Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of relevant departments and agencies; and Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company. |
The N5 road connecting the Southeast Economic Zone to Hoa Son, Do Luong district, is 29.1km long and was approved as two specific projects with a total capital of over 1,265 billion VND. To date, after nearly a year of construction, the main route, passing through two districts, Nghi Loc and Do Luong, has had its land handed over to the construction unit.
Regarding the volume of construction work, as of April 13, 2017, the roadbed, bridges, culverts, and crushed stone base have been completed at 100%, cement reinforcement at 95%, and the first layer of asphalt paving has been completed for 19/29.1 km, reaching 65% of the total project length.

The Department of Transport is directing contractors to focus resources on accelerating the construction progress of project components, arranging 3 asphalt paving teams (each working at least 1km per day) to ensure the first layer of asphalt paving is completed before April 28, 2017, and the entire project is completed before June 30, 2017.
Regarding the Nghi Thiet Cement Grinding Plant (total investment of VND 1,100 billion, designed capacity of 4 million tons/year in phase 1), according to a report from Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company, the cement plant is 99% complete and is expected to be finished by the end of April 2017. Half of the cement grinding mills have been completed – marking the end of phase 1. Phase 2 involves installing the second cement grinding mill and is expected to be completed in July 2017. The feed silos for the grinding mills are 99% complete and are expected to be finished in April.

Auxiliary structures such as the central control building, conveyor belt, and inlet hopper are 99% complete and are expected to be finished in April 2017. Equipment for the cement mill has been 97% installed and is currently undergoing adjustment and testing. Load operation is expected by the end of April 2017...
Following an on-site inspection, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong highly appreciated the efforts of the investors and contractors and agreed to hold the inauguration ceremony for the cement plant and grinding station, as well as the opening ceremony for the N5 road on April 29th in Nghi Thiet, Nghi Loc.

To ensure these two projects are completed on schedule and inaugurated before April 30th, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Transport and the Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone to direct contractors to deploy construction forces regularly along the route, striving to complete the first layer of asphalt paving before April 30th; construction must ensure safety and efficiency...
