Hoang Mai Town launches 'I love the blue sea' club

(Baonghean.vn) - "I love the blue sea" is a model of women self-management of the environment that was just established in Quynh Lien commune, Hoang Mai town on the afternoon of March 29.

Quynh Lien is a coastal commune with great potential for tourism development. To contribute to preserving the wild features, making Quynh Lien beach green, clean and beautiful, the “I love the blue sea” club - a model of women self-management of the environment was established by Quynh Lien commune.

The club has 50 members who are business households in the Quynh Lien beach area, members, branch presidents, and the Standing Committee of the Women's Union of Quynh Lien commune. The club operates on the voluntary basis of its members with the aim of promoting propaganda and mobilizing cadres, women's union members and people to implement waste collection measures, and maintain a group of women who self-manage the cleaning of the beach environment.

At the same time, the activity also raises awareness of water resource protection, creates changes in awareness and behavior in environmental protection, builds a green, clean, beautiful coast, and attracts tourists to Quynh Lien beach.

According to the regulations, on the 5th of every month, the Club will organize marine environmental sanitation, quarterly activities on topics and depending on the situation, there will be community propaganda sessions on marine environmental protection./.
