Hoang Mai town launches the 'I Love the Blue Sea' Club
(Baonghean.vn) - "I love the blue sea" is a self-governing women's environmental model that was recently established in Quynh Lien commune, Hoang Mai town on the afternoon of March 29th.
Quynh Lien is a coastal commune with great potential for tourism development. To contribute to preserving its pristine beauty and keeping Quynh Lien beach clean and beautiful, the "I Love the Blue Sea" Club – a self-governing women's environmental model – has been established in Quynh Lien commune.

The club has 50 members, including business owners in the Quynh Lien beach area, members, branch leaders, and the Standing Committee of the Women's Union of Quynh Lien commune. The club operates on a voluntary basis with the aim of promoting awareness and encouraging female officials, members, and residents to implement waste collection measures and maintain self-governing women's groups for beach sanitation and environmental cleanliness.
At the same time, the activity also raises awareness of water resource protection, creating a shift in awareness and behavior in environmental protection, building a green, clean, and beautiful coastline, and attracting tourists to Quynh Lien beach.
According to the regulations, on the 5th of every month, the club will organize a beach cleanup, hold quarterly meetings on specific topics, and depending on the situation, will conduct community awareness campaigns on protecting the marine environment.
