Workers from 12 companies participate in the Shift Meal Processing Contest.

(Baonghean.vn) - Responding to "Workers' Month" 2017, on April 28, Yen Thanh District Labor Federation organized a Meal Processing Contest for officers and employees of 12 companies and enterprises in the area.

12 teams participated in the contest and competed in 2 parts, including: Preparing, presenting and presenting a meal for 10 people with a value of no more than 200,000 VND.

Mid-shift meals for employees at companies and enterprises play an important role, directly affecting the health of employees as well as labor productivity; the contest is a practical activity, creating conditions for union members to demonstrate their talents in taking care of mid-shift meals.

On the part of the District Labor Federation, in the coming time, it will direct the grassroots trade union to strengthen the inspection and supervision of workers' meals at enterprises, striving to increase the workers' meal allowance from 13,000 - 14,000 VND/meal in 2017, and reach 15,000 VND/meal by the end of 2018 in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 7C of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
