Veteran Le Van Minh, who participated in the resistance war in the Quang Tri battlefield, has a particularly difficult family situation and cannot afford to build a new house. Faced with the situation of its members, the provincial Veterans Association has mobilized philanthropists to support the construction of a house of gratitude for veteran Le Van Minh.

After nearly 3 months of construction, the house was completed and put into use with an area of 82m2, total cost of 285 million VND; of which the provincial Veterans Association supported 60 million VND, the district Veterans Association 2 million VND, the rest was the help of working days from the Commune Veterans Association, relatives and loans from the family.

This is a practical activity, demonstrating care, sharing, comradeship, and is a motivation to help war veteran members have the conditions to rise up in life.
