Donating houses of compassion to needy veterans.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 13th, the Provincial Veterans Association, in coordination with the Nghi Thinh Commune Veterans Association (Nghi Loc District), held a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over a house of gratitude to Veterans Association member Le Van Minh in Hamlet 13, Nghi Thinh Commune (Nghi Loc District).

Veteran Le Van Minh, who participated in the resistance war in Quang Tri, comes from a particularly difficult family situation and lacks the means to build a new house. Given this situation, the Provincial Veterans Association mobilized benefactors to support the construction of a charitable house for veteran Le Van Minh.

After nearly 3 months of construction, the house was completed and put into use with an area of 82m2, at a total cost of 285 million VND; of which the Provincial Veterans Association contributed 60 million VND, the District Veterans Association contributed 2 million VND, and the rest came from the labor assistance of the Commune Veterans Association, relatives, and loans from the family.
This is a practical activity that demonstrates care, sharing, and camaraderie, and serves as a motivation for veteran association members to improve their lives.
