Provincial leaders congratulate the Vinh Diocese Bishopric on Easter.
(Baonghean.vn) - Congratulating the Bishopric of Vinh Diocese, Comrade Le Xuan Dai expressed his wish that Catholic compatriots would unite and cooperate with the government and all sectors of the people in the province to fulfill the province's common tasks.
On behalf of the provincial leadership, Mr. Le Xuan Dai, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, provided information on the socio-economic situation and national defense and security of the province in the first quarter of 2017. Despite the general difficulties, the province continued to achieve many positive changes in the socio-economic and national defense and security sectors during the first quarter of this year.

Accompanying the delegation were representatives from the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and the Provincial Police Department. |
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Achieving these results is the culmination of great efforts by all levels, sectors, the business community, and all strata of the people in the province, including the contributions of the Catholic community.
Comrade Le Xuan Dai, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, expressed his hope that the Vinh Diocese Bishopric and Bishop Nguyen Thai Hop, in their respective positions, would continue to lead and encourage Catholic compatriots to make even greater efforts, working together with the government and all sectors of the people in the province's ethnic communities to unite and strive to successfully achieve the province's economic, cultural, and social development targets for 2017.

On behalf of the Vinh Diocese Bishopric, Bishop Nguyen Thai Hop thanked the provincial leaders for their attention and expressed his joy at the results achieved by the province in the first quarter of 2017.
Bishop Nguyen Thai Hop affirmed that he will continue to encourage Catholic clergy and parishioners to effectively implement the policies and laws of the Party and State, to live virtuous lives, and to contribute to the development of their homeland. The Bishop also expressed his hope that provincial leaders will continue to pay more attention to training and job placement for young people in their hometowns, thereby better exploiting the province's potential and advantages to further develop the province.
