In the 2016-2017 school year, Phuong Hoang High School has 3 classes, including 2 6th grade classes and 1 1st grade class with 93 students.
As a result of the school year, nearly 88% of the secondary school students achieved good and excellent grades, including 7 students with a GPA of 9.0 or higher, accounting for 10.6%. The primary school had 22/27 students with excellent grades. In terms of student competency testing quality, the school ranked 4th in the city.
