(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 27th, Phuong Hoang High-Quality High School held its closing ceremony for the 2016-2017 school year.

In the 2016-2017 school year, Phuong Hoang High-Quality High School had 3 classes, including 2 classes of grade 6 and 1 class of grade 1, with 93 students.
In the school year, nearly 88% of the junior high school students achieved good or excellent grades, including 7 students with a GPA of 9.0 or higher (10.6%). In the elementary school, 22 out of 27 students were classified as excellent overall. Regarding the quality of student competency tests, the school ranked 4th in the city.
Some notable achievements during the school year include: In the Literature and Mathematics gifted student assessment, 10 students participated and ranked 4th citywide; in the Online English Olympiad, 39 out of 54 participants achieved scores of 1,200 or higher; and in the Online Violympic Mathematics competition, 4 students achieved high scores. After one year since its establishment, Phuong Hoang High-Quality High School has built a safe and healthy learning environment. Physical education and care for students' health (eating, sleeping, and resting) are prioritized and have become well-established. Students have shown progress in both physical and mental health. Life skills education and character development are rich, diverse, and engaging for students. Practical experience activities, themed extracurricular activities, and after-school programs are truly beneficial and encourage students' creativity. In the 2017-2018 academic year, the school will strengthen the development of its teaching staff, ensuring sufficient numbers, high quality, and diversity across generations; promote professional development, innovate teaching methods, teaching organization, and assessment; and develop a detailed and specific timetable for the main curriculum.
