Grand ceremony to pray for the souls of fallen heroes and martyrs.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of May 11th, at the Nghi Loc District Martyrs' Cemetery, the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of Nghe An Province, in coordination with the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An Province, organized a grand ceremony to pray for the souls of the heroic martyrs, volunteer soldiers, and Vietnamese experts who sacrificed their lives in Laos.

The grand memorial service was held to express gratitude and commemorate the heroic martyrs, Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who sacrificed their lives for the revolutionary cause of both nations, for the peace and happiness of the people. It reflects the Vietnamese people's principle of remembering their roots and the Buddhist spirit of gratitude and reciprocity.

This morning, May 12th, Nghe An province solemnly held the burial ceremony for 107 remains of martyrs at the Nghi Loc District Martyrs' Cemetery.
