Mass for the martyrs

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of May 11, at the Nghi Loc District Martyrs' Cemetery, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Nghe An province coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province to organize a grand requiem and candlelight ceremony to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs, volunteer soldiers, and Vietnamese experts who sacrificed their lives in Laos.

The grand requiem mass was held to pay tribute and commemorate the heroic martyrs of the volunteer army and Vietnamese experts who sacrificed their lives for the revolutionary cause of the two nations, for the peace and happiness of the people. It demonstrates the Vietnamese people's morality of remembering the source of water and the spirit of gratitude and repayment of gratitude of Buddhism.

This morning, May 12, Nghe An province solemnly held a burial ceremony for 107 martyrs' remains at Nghi Loc district martyrs' cemetery.
