Earlier, around November 2016, Mobile Forest Ranger Team No. 3 (Quynh Luu) captured a 10 kg python (Python Molurs). After completing the legal procedures, the unit handed it over to the Forest Ranger Station of Pu Hoat Nature Reserve to release it back into the natural forest.

Accordingly, the Forest Protection Department of the Pù Hoạt Nature Reserve selected sub-area 59, plot 16 as the location for releasing the python into the natural forest. Approximately 30 seconds after being released, the python safely crawled into the forest.

During the process of releasing the pythons, the team also encountered a cobra weighing about 3kg that was shedding its skin by the roadside. The team members used tools to drive the snake deeper into the forest, avoiding capture by humans.
