"My parents were arguing. My mom said, 'Stop talking,' but my dad didn't say anything and went to cut tape and put it on his mouth," Van said.

The above share by Doan Van, 22 years old, on a Facebook group attracted 19,000 likes and nearly 1,300 shares.

The husband put tape over his mouth when his wife told him to "talk less".

Van added: "My dad looks difficult but he loves and cares for his wife very much. My mom often goes far away to get goods. Whenever she goes alone, the day before she comes back, my dad cleans the house from top to bottom, wiping it dozens of times so that she can feel comfortable when she comes back. One time I went with my mom, I took a video of my mom and sent it to my dad. My dad texted me: 'You took so few videos of my wife, you haven't even had a chance to look at her to ease your longing before she's gone.'"

The girl from Nam Dinh added that in daily life, her 47-year-old father also takes great care of his wife and pampers his two daughters. Whenever his mother has menstrual cramps, he will do all the housework, rub her belly, buy medicine and porridge and bring it to his wife's room.

"My mother told my sister and I that when choosing a husband, we should look for someone like our father - a man who talks less and does more, then he will be loved. I just hope to find someone who is 6-7 times as good as my father, that's lucky," Van shared.

Among the more than 1,700 comments under Van's post, many young people also proudly told about their parents' love scenes that made their children "jealous":

- My dad is 70 years old, my mom is 57 years old but sometimes we go out for coffee together. If he sees me fussing around at home, he will definitely say "Are you trying to steal my wife?".

- Every few days I see my dad washing my mom's hair, but I can't get him to wash it for me no matter how much I coax him.

- In the morning, Mom said she was craving coconut water. In the afternoon, Dad went out and bought some bunches of coconuts. Mom drank them all for a month. They've been married for over 20 years, but now they still take each other out to buy couple rings. I can only sit and watch, craving them.

"My parents are from the countryside, not romantic but very affectionate. My dad asks my mom's opinion on everything he does, and it's a common thing for my dad to pluck my mom's gray hair," Tran Thu Thao (Ha Nam) shared in a comment under Doan Van's post.

- I left my child with my grandparents. In the middle of the night, my father called and I was startled, thinking something was wrong, then he said: "Come and take your child home right away. He's naughty and won't rest, making my wife sick. What kind of grandchild is this? You hug your grandma and he screams and won't let you."

- My dad often watches shows with pretty models wearing nice clothes and then asks my mom if she likes the shoes she's wearing or the dress she's wearing. If my mom likes it, my dad buys it right away, while I have nothing to wear.

- My parents argued. When my mother scolded him, my father shouted, "Say more. Say more. If you say too much, I'll slap you in the mouth." My mother laughed, and then we were even again.

- At home, Mom can go anywhere during the day, but she has to stay home at night. Dad often tells my sisters and me, "You guys get married, it doesn't matter where you go, I only need your mom, just the two of us living together is enough."

- Sitting at the dinner table, my father said: "You two sit next to each other so I can sit next to my girlfriend."
