Nghe An: Seeking solutions to open a regular Vinh-Bangkok flight route.

(Baonghean.vn) - Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien expressed his hope that Jetstar Pacific Airlines and Vietravel would be determined to cooperate with Nghe An province to soon open a regular Vinh-Bangkok flight route.

During the meeting, representatives from Jetstar Pacific Airlines affirmed that Thailand is a market with great potential, and Jetstar plans to open a Vinh-Bangkok route with a frequency of 2 flights per week to serve tourists and investors traveling to Nghe An and vice versa.

However, opening the Vinh - Bangkok route will initially face many difficulties. Recognizing that the Vinh - Bangkok route must be maintained and developed long-term, Jetstar hopes the province will provide financial support and assistance in improving infrastructure.

To alleviate Jetstar's difficulties and ensure sufficient passengers for its flights, Vietravel has committed to being Jetstar's primary product supplier and providing media support.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien said that in recent years, Nghe An has been a popular tourist destination for both Thailand and Thailand. Besides tourism development, Nghe An has attracted investment from the Thai Hemaraj Group. Once the project is operational, Hemaraj will continue to attract secondary investors. These are positive signs for opening a regular Vinh - Bangkok flight route.

The opening of the Vinh - Bangkok regular flight route affirms that it opens up prospects for the socio-economic development of Nghe An province, creating opportunities to promote international tourism potential; and at the same time creating conditions to attract investment, tourism, and socio-economic development of the North Central region.

To open the Vinh - Bangkok route, the Provincial People's Committee will establish a working group, headed by the Department of Transport, to coordinate with other departments and agencies to continue working with Jetstar and Vietravel to discuss and agree on solutions to ensure the successful opening of the Vinh - Bangkok route.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his hope that all parties would continue to work together with the province to soon open a regular Vinh - Bangkok flight route.
