Putin says he will respond to US missile shield

Reuters, Mr. Putin also said that Moscow has no other choice but to build its own forces in response. He said that Russia cannot stand idly by while other countries strengthen their military potential along Russia's borders in the Far East.

On the sidelines of the forum, the Russian President said that the West's concern about Russia is related to a multipolar world that is being formed while the monopoly capitalists do not like this. He also hopes that the fear of Russia will not last long.

He emphasized that Russia's increase in military potential is to cope with external changes in the context of NATO military alliance bases approaching Russia's borders, while incidents between the two sides are occurring more and more frequently.
